Lee Theatre. The concert also featured Te mess decks and Legions from 1914 to 1953, ~ rrace singer Joanne Boyd, and the music was from the canteens, Tatented and energetic Vicki Parviainsn danced up a storm as “The Irish - Washerwoman'during a performance in the Terrace Community Band/Royal Canadian Legion's One for the Vets” which raised several hundred dollars to kick off the Salvation Army's annual Christmas “Kettle Drive". The concert helped raise money for the Salvation Army Kettle Drive but also commemorated the 60th anniversary of Branch 13 of the Royal Canadian Legion. Three locals scooped in drug dragnet. © TERRACE — Three Terrace residents were among 14 people arrested last weekend in a con- certed series of raids by drug en- forcement squads from the Ter- race, Prince Rupert, Prince ‘George and Abbotsford detach- ments of the RCMP. The nine-month investigation resulted in charges of conspiracy to traffic cocaine being laid w against individuals from Prince George, Vanderhoof, Fraser Lake, Burns Lake, Abbotsford, Chilliwack and Terrace.
