TO THE BANK | Attached are two letters from the residents of 2361 Kitchener and 2364 Lafleur St. requesting that the Engineering Dept. pave the remaining portion of Kitchener Ave. from Lafleur to the riverbank. Existing Conditions This portion of Kitchener has never been paved. During the recent construction of the watermain by the G.V.R.D. Kitchener Ave. was repaved after installation of the main. This gravel portion in question is primary access for 2361 Kitchener but is secondary access for 2364 Lafleur. The residents had hoped that while construction was underway that they could get the portion of road in front of their properties paved at the same time as the rest of Kitchener. The contractor for G.V.R.D. was only required to repave those areas that were already paved prior to construction. SOLUTIONS: | 1) Pave this remaining portion of Kitchener Ave. approx. 4m wide and 45m long to create a -_pathway/access to the dyke with drainage sloping to the north side of Kitchener at an estimated cost of: ' base prep.= $900 asphalt (75mm)= - | $2,200 contingencies(15%)= $465 Total | $3,565 2) Grade area to eliminate excessive ponding through regular maintenance procedures for roads. _ Lf Zo SN ao Anne T.
