PWC, July 5/78 From the Public Works Committee, July 5th, 1978 advising that a

Warwick Ave. petition was received from the residents on Warwick Avenue and upon

investigation by the Public Works Committee the Committee felt the
ditches on Warwick Avenue were not a more serious problem than other
areas and Alderman E.W. Mabbett further advised he had written a letter
informing the residents of the local improvement program.

and recommending that the mower from Taylor, Pearson be purchased for a

total cost of $614.21, including tax.

of a reel mower from Taylor, Pearson for a total cost of $614.21, including

system to be installed in the park in the Nu~West Development's subdivision

system controlled by a time cleck would cost approximately $3,500. more

but would alleviate the need to have a crew available to turn on the
sprinklers during daylight hours and would allow the sprinkler to be
used at night during periods when the park is not in use. Nu-West
Development advised they are.nct: ‘prepared to pay the additional for the

automatic sprinkler and alternatively propose they would spend $3,500.00

AND THAT the developer complete the landscaping of their property

along Cedar Drive between the ditch -and their property in lieu of

providing the additional $3,500.00 for the automatic sprinkler system.
