The City Clerk advised receipt of a letter from the District of
Coquitlam, January 6th, 1981 regarding the proposed Provincial forest
designation in the area north of Victoria Drive.

Moved by Alderman Trabculay:

Seconded by Alderman Gates:

That the letter from the District of Coquitlam, January 6th, 1981
regarding the proposed Provincial forest designation in the area north
of Victoria Drive be referred to the Environmental Protection Committee
for study and report,

NEW BUSINESS:

Alderman Muldoon inquired regarding the date of a meeting on drainage

and Alderman Sates advised he would advise when a meeting date had been

set.
Alderman Muldoon expressed congratulations to the Fire Department
for the work they had done regarding the Empty Stocking Fund.
Alderman Mabbett expressed concern regarding the occupancy of a new
apartment on Coquitlam Avenue prior to parking being available.
Alderman Mabbett advised B.C. Hydro street lights were still not
replaced on Kingsway Avenue and Wilson Avenue.
