Fred. Bedore, brother of de- ceased, said Isaac had come from Westminster penitentiary on pa- role and was staying with another brother, Albert. On Tuesday morning, at about 11 o’elock, Al- bert’s wife came for witness as Isaac was acting curiously and she was afraid of him. When they returned to Albert’s house they found deceased lying on the floor with his chest coyered with blood and a gun near by, An- other brother (Bill) was summon- ed and he sent for the doctor and constable. Deceased had been acting very peculiarly, always saying the penitentiary people had wires on him and would come and get him. Mrs. Albert Bedore and Mrs. William Bedore also gave corro- borative evidence. Albert Bedore said he wrote Ottawa some time ago stating that if his brother was in good health and alright mentally he would be willing to take care of him if they would parole him. Deceased had never been right during the six weeks he had stayed with witness. Witness did not know how’ de- ceased got the gun cartridges, as they were hidden.
