Brown Director of Community Planning 1116 Lynwood Development Variance Permit (File No. 69/88) RECOMMENDATION : That City Council direct the Clerk's Office to notify surrounding property owners about this application and to place a resolution on a subsequent meeting of Council. And That the resolution is to adopt a voluntary development variance permit for Lot 10 of Section 7 Twp. 40, NWLD Plan /7115. relaxing the requirements of the Zoning Bylaw No. 2240, Section 801 RS-l, Subsection (7) Rear Yards from 7.5 metres 5.4 metres to permit the construction of a deck off the rear of the house. COMMENTS : This application is to construct a second floor deck for a home along the south side of Lynwood in the Parklane Homes subdivision. The house behind this property also has a deck, no encroachment into the rear yard was taken, however. The encroachment into the rear yard being requested is 0.6 metres (2 feet) more than is permitted for decks, 1.2 metres (4 feet) are permitted. In conclusion, it is recommended that the Clerk's Office be directed to notify surrounding property owners of this application. KkE- We Brown
