THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM

BYLAW NO. 2442

A Bylaw to amend the "Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240".

The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in
open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1. “Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240" is amended as follows:

(1) In Section 101, the following definition of "shopping centre" is .
iaserted in alphabetical order:

shopping centre' includes improvements at which a variety of
goods and services is offered for sale whether offered by one or
more businesses, on a lot greater than 1.25 ha or on lots which
have a total area greater that 1.25 ha and which are tied together
by way of easements for mutual access to the lots by the users ;
thereof that are registered in the Land Title Office”:

(2) In Section 902, Neighbourhood Commercial (C-2) is hereby amended bys

(a) inserting the following as Section 902(1)(i):

“accessory buildings and uses";

(b) adding the following as Section 902(7) and (8):

"(7) Outdoor uses other than parking are limited to 25% of
the lot area."

"(8) Outdoor storage uses must be screened from external
view."

2. This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as “Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw,
1987, No. 2240, Amendment Bylaw, 1989, No. 2442"

Read a second time by the Municipal Council this 10th day of July, 1989.
