The Social Committee thanks al] potters who have supplied the delicious home baking for meetings this year. Members who have not yet donated a coffee mug to the Guild are please reminded to bring one to this very special meeting. Ceramics ‘8]_ Ceramics '8] was, judging from the response for the community, the potters, and just about everyone, an unqualified success. It was interesting and innovative, as well as being visually satisfying, and has set a standard for all further shows. Our thanks to those who submitted applications and pots. We had a record number of both, and because of the whole-hearted participation from everyone, it did all come together. We are more grateful than we can express to those who also con- tributed so much of their time and effort. As you realize we are completely dependent on volunteer help, and we were not left wanting. Our thanks to the jury, who gave us a fascinating selection, in spite of having to work in an extremely difficult situation. To those who purchased cataloques and signed their names and addresses for inserts for the juried portion of the show- these will very shortly be mailed to you. a
