Announcement was made this week by John Manning ‘of Madrona
Drive, Deep Cove, that he has acquired the Saanich Peninsula and
Gulf. Islands Review and Peninsula Printing Co., Lid., of Third

‘Street, Sidney, and that he will assume direction of both operations

immediately.

The newspaper and the printing establishment have

been operated for the past 20 years by a company headed by d.S.

The Review was established in Sidney in 1912 and-has continued
to grow with its district ever since.

Publishing Company, Ltd., of which the late J.J. White, Sidney

pioneer, was the oldest surviving member.

Mr. Manning has acquired.the company’s premises in Sidney

and will continue to operate from this centre.
