Crab Hunt at Fulford Harbor
-was a complete washout this
year. . :
_ The hunt was to be held ona
Saturday night between 10 and
midnight. when the tidal flats lay
naked for’ nearly a mile, In-
stead of the usual 50 crab col-
-fectors, only three — intrepids
turned out for what is considered
“one of the social and cultural
events of the year.

Most non-attenders: gave bad
weather the reason for non-at-
‘tendance. It was certainly un-
seasonal -- perhaps-unreasonable
