SUBJECT: BC TRANSIT REQUEST FOR BUS ZONE AT FARSIDE WELCHER ON
MARY HILL RD.

Approve request for bus zone at farside Welcher on Mary Hiil Rd. and establish this by
installing two "No Stopping - Bus Zone" signs according to the attached map at a cost of $200.

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:

Attached ig a letter from BC Transit requesting that a Bus Zone be established at the farside stop
at Welcher on Mary Hill Rd. The reason for this request ig that there have been repeated
problems with parking in this location. A bus zone will make it clear that cars cannot park in

this area. Please see attached map for specific sign location.
