Atderman Laking referred to a memorandum dated August 24, 1987 that
Council members had received from the Parks and Recreation Director .
regarding an equipment breakdown in Arena No. 2.

Seconded by Alderman Gates:

That the making of repairs to the equipment in Arena No. 2 as listed

in the Parks and Recreation Directors memorandum of August 24th, 1987 be
approved up to a total! cost of $62,000.00.

Alderman Gates referred to the recent PoCo Blasters for winning the
Canadian Nationa! Pee Wee Lacrosse Champtonships,.

That the City of Port Coquitlam congratulate the PoCo Blasters for
winning the Canadian Pee Wee National Championships.
