The Public Library has an
obligation: to serve all of. the

the part of adults to return to a
school. environment. for. the
purpose of using a library. This
barrier is present also in the
minds of students fram parochial:

shortsighted indeed for a Library -
Board to. ignore this definite
warning. ,

To establish a public library i in.
a school environment is to do a
disservice to the school, ‘the
community and. library” staffs.

school, the staff, book collections

service to the general public will
be marginal. The approach,
specific purpose,and methods of
operation are. different.

was greeted by Mrs. E. Robinson,
Guide Captain.

Mrs.. I. Macrae, District
Commissioner, paid a visit to ist
Sidney Brownies and enrolled: 9
new. Brownies. 2nd. Sidney
Brownies will have eight new
Brownies. enrolled on January
27th. Once again both packs are

filled up and there is still a.
