Other guests on the platform included .Mrs. Norma Sealey, Alderman. of Sidney, Mrs. Graham, President of the P.T.A.; and Bert Brewer, supervisor of intermediate education. Academic. Awards were presented by Mr. Armstrong to those. students who had been outstanding throughout the year. Judith Lewis received the Boyd Trophy, which is presented to the student. with the. highest academic. standing in Grade 7. Academic bars were given to June Moffoot, Grade 7; Debbie O'Connor, Grade 6;* Karin Rasmussen, Grade..5; Eric Griffiths, Grade 4. Mr. Arm- strong also presented individual cups to those children who did weil on Sport’s Day. Following these awards, Mr. Brewer presented the Good Citizens with their bars.
