_THE REVIEW 'e with Imogene DEAR IMOGENE ~ I know yours isn’t a doctor’s column, but maybe you can give me some insight into why I’m always tired. Looking back over the past year I can’t remember when I wasn’t tired. Even doing things I enjoyed, I just couldn’t get up energy to do them properly. I get what used to be enough sleep, and even if I sleep over eight hours, I still wake up fatigued. I eat a fairly balanced diet, and though I snack often — candies, ice-cream, chips etc., I'm not gaining weight’ as I should, as I’m under-weight. How can I feel -more relaxed and refreshed? DEAR WEARY ONE No, mine isn’t a-doctor’s column, and the first thing you MUST do is visit your friendly family physician! He’ll check you over and probably give you a diet sheet to ensure that your meals are properly balanced. Probably, too, he’ll advise cutting out candies, which certainly won't do - anything for your health — or teeth! Ditto ice-cream. Ask him about going on to honey to satisfy your sweet-tooth. It’s a natural sweetener, and between-meals ‘snacks’ of milk with honey ad- ded, are deliciously refreshing and nourishing. A few people are allergic to ‘‘bee-nectar’’, so it’s important to get medical ap- proval before eating a lot of the lovely liquid-gold! .
