C—O Rest Haven Auxiliary Mrs. C. D. Clive was elected president of the Auxiliary to Rest Haven General Hospital at the annual meeting held on February 9th, in the hospital lounge. Both regular and annual meetings took place, with 28 members present and one visitor - Mrs. Nicholl, of Calgary. Other executive members elected were: first vice president, Mrs. L. Hafer; second vice president, Mrs. XK. Alexander; recording secretary, Mrs. J. Gayton; treasurer, Mrs. H. T. Griffiths. Committee. -ap- pointments made by the newly elected president were as follows: gift shop, Mrs. C. Smith; membership Mrs. H. Clark; library, Mrs. J.W. Whitaker, and Mrs. W. MacLeod; knitting, Mrs. W. Johnson ; sewing, Mrs. D. J. Patterson; special events, Mrs. N. Lovrod and Mrs. I. Wilson; sick visiting, Mrs..D. Tichie. Thanks for services. rendered were expressed to Mr. G. Cumpston for audit of the financial statement, to Miss C. Tilstra for typing and to the Sidney Review for publicity during the year. Retiring president Mrs. H. G. Horth expressed sincere thanks to her executive and to all members for their co-operation and support during her two years in office.
