Because the first. priority is to
teach water ‘safety. to non-
swimmers,-and Sidney pools are
used for this purpose. those
wishing to achieve junior and
intermediate proficiency may be
able to do so by taking Gordon
Head poo! lessons. organized
through the Commission.

The Gordon Head pool is also
being. atilized by Saanich
Peninsula School District which
is transporting Grade Three
students: from all schools for a
weekly lesson.
