St. Stephen’s A.C.W, held its
first meeting of the new year
at the home of Mrs, A.C. Ram-
say, 1299 Mount Newton Cross
Road on Wednesday, Jan. 7;. The
president, Mrs. Cuthbert
Brown, was in the chair, and
the meeting was well attended
and two new members were
welcomed. Donations were
made towards the installation
of the new lights in the church;
St. Chad’s home for boys;
rectory maintenance; painting
of the Memorial Hall, and the
usual pledge to the Diocesan
Board, Date of the Christmas
Tea was set for November 14;
April 25° was suggested as
tentative date for the Spring
Tea. Following the meeting tea
was served by the hostess, Mrs.
Ramsay.
