NEW CLUB PLANS SAILING CLASSES Sailing enthusiasts meeting last Sunday at the home of Henry Bird,. Deep. Cove Marina proprietor. resolved to organize a Deep Cove Sailing Club with: the following main objectives: 1. To introduce sailing to those who do not own a boat, but who might become interested if they could try sailing once in a while. 2. To organize a sailing class mainly for vouth, boys and girls aged 10 and upward. There. will be. ‘‘open house” at the two Thunderbird sloops moored at Deep Cove Marina on Sunday morning, March 22, from 10-until. noon, and short. sailing trips will be offered if the weather is suitable: Members have offered the use of eight-foot dingies and it is hoped that four or five will be available.
