weekly schedule, with racing start-
ing at 7 p.m. on Monday nights as
well as on each Wednesday and
Friday.

Regular intertrack wagering will
also continue on Saturday and
Sunday afternoons at 1 p.m. until
Apu 7.

Sandown Harness Raceway will
mark its annual Fan Appreciation
Day on Sunday with free admit-
tance and draws for cash prizes.

Club spokesman Lynn Wonnen-
berg said race fans will have the
chance to win a total of ten $50
cash prizes draws, which will be
drawn in between simulcast races.

Teletheatre betting at the track
will continue until April 7 but a
date for the start of the live racing
season has yet to be set by the B.C.
Racing Commission, she said.

Even though the season opener
has traditionally been held in mid-
May, track officials had hoped to
see live racing retum to Sandown
as early as April 13.
