We jumped up and down and screamed a lot.” The group chose a Broadway theme, performing the songs Broadway Baby and After My Laughter Came Tears. To match the showmanship of the songs, each of the singers was garbed in puffy-sleeved red chif- fon, with a silver sequined bodice and silver-edged dagged skirt. In the Show of Champions which followed the formal compe- tition, the group performed a med- ley of songs from Paint Your Wagon. - For those songs, they donned flirty saloon girl costumes. “They change our whole personality,” Dunphy said.
