The ten-woman Masters team
from the Peninsula Plodders Run-
ning Club made it a long weekend
to remember when they won the
gold medal in the 208-k Island
Relay.

The race from Courtenay to
Victoria, run in legs over two days,
attracted clubs from throughout
westem Canada as well as from
Oregon and California.
