About 50 bladers ranging from Six to 44-years-old skated hard for prizes, medals, fitness and a good cause. “Tt was really a successful func- tion for a everybody,” organizer Jim Townley said Monday. Proceeds from entry fees and sponsors raised over $600 for the Greater Victoria Boys’ and Girls’ Club, Townley said. There were four age categories for both boys and girls in the competition.
