Secondly, I would like to know how and why we ended up with a
beer and wine store in our back yard almost. We did not vcece
on this issue. We were not told exactly what was going into
the building. No one in our neighbournood knew what was coing
into the building until the rumour mill surfaced from the hotel
and everyone learned Frisco's had obtained a License to operate
a beer and wine store. I would LOVE to move that mess into
your yard, Sir. We have been plagued with nothing but kids
trying to get somone to bootleg for them. Along with this we
have cars screaming up and down the back lane and Coquitlam

Avenue Like maniacs. The intersection between Briar Auto Parts,
the 0.T. Market, Aggie park (with it's insane angle parking)
and the beer and wine store is a Suicide area. I can't even

count the number of times I have nearly been flattened on foot
and in my car by some maniac trying to get into the beer and
wine store parking lot at a break neck speed. The oniy safe
way to drive in our block is with a gravel truck or army tank:!
The back Lane was blocked off at the end and the hotel put in

a miserable little "edging" of cement around their parking lot
to "protect" us and the whole issue almost was ripped up in
seven days. The Frisco customers took the cement "edging"

from the hotel parking lot and threw it all over the lane and
continue to use the lane for a drag strip. The rest of us spend
the rest of our time trying to drive around the cement sections
all over the road. We have complained to the hotel and they
have not fixed the problem at all. This paragraph doesn't even
touch the issue about the tons of garbage strewn all over from

the hotel problem.

Thirdly, we listen to howling drunks and cars seven days a week
from Frisco's, Butlers and the beer and wine store. I have seen
people park their cars and get out out them with beer and Liquor
bottles open and they are absolutely intoxicated. They get back
into their cars and drive in this condition. We have to put up
with fights, filthy language and speeding traffic continually. In
five years we have had two murders and two attempted murders all
in one block around and in the clubs. As usual the RCMP state
they can't be everywhere at the same time due to tne lack of
manpower when we have asked for extra night patrols to keep some
of the drunken drivers off the road and out of the area. The
residents of the area are fed up. The ones of us that own property
can't pack up and move like the tenants can.

Fourth, would you do something abgyt our street. We do not

have pavement to our sidewalk ands told we have to pay for it. I
hardly think this is justified considering the fact the city has
done almost nothing in our neighbourhood in two decades!!. We have
pot holes big enough to sink a ship in front of our residence.

When it rains a person needs hip waders to get from the car to tne
sidewalk. Then we have the problem of all the local idiots peeling
their tires thru this and covering our lawn with rocks so we can

chop them up with the lawn mower.
