March 23rd, 1981. This property is located at 2612 and 2640 Mary Hill Road and it is expected that following completion of the rezoning procedures a three storey mixed commercial/residential development containing 4,500 sq.ft. of retail space and 35 apartment units will be constructed on the property. The Proposed development will provide underground parking for the apartment units and surface parking for the retail space with access and egress via Mary Hill Road. Prior to passage of the resolution stated above Alderman Mabbett referred to a presentation that had been made at the Zoning Public Hearing by the Burke Mountain Trail Riders concerning the necessity for direct access to the City's Nature Area from Victoria Drive and advised that a 33' wide road allowance immediately to the East of the property that was proposed to be rezoned would appear to be suitable for this purpose.
