BACKGROUND: School District #43 has made an application to rezone 2511 Pitt River Road and Lots 1 to 4, Plan 1879, from RS-3 (Estate Residential) to P-1 (Public Institutional). The property at 2511 Pitt River Road is privately-owned while Lots 1 to 4 are City-owned. The subject properties would be consolidated with lands presently owned by the City to enable the construction of a Senior Secondary School.
