B.C. Hydro and Power Authority Is proposing to construct an overhead transmisston line from its Arnott substation [In Delta, to the Kidd substation tn Richmond near the Oak Street bridge. The rcuvte - taken by the transmission Line runs parallel to highway number 499, which highway is the main entrance for traffic entering the City of . Vancouver both trom the U.S.A. and from Vancouver Island. Therefore, Delta has taken the position that such a facillty should be placed underground.
