‘WHEREAS a breakage in a section of the City watermain occurred at |

the intersection of Pooley Avenue and Eastern Drive in the early morning

of September 18th, 1977;
AND WHEREAS the said breakage was not the result of negligence on

the part of the City, nor ‘was the City in any way responsible for damage

to private property that subsequently occurred; ee .

AND WHEREAS three requests for payment of damages have been received

and it is the desire of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam to

pay such claims;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that an application be made to the

Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing under Section 217 of the Municipal

Act for permission to pay the following claims:

Wilhelmus Jacobus Piket and
Maate Johanna Piket ; .
1562 Pitt River Road $ 160.00

John Arthur Trigardi. :
