RE: Kilmer House Renovations

RECOMMENDATIONS:

A. That the architectura! firm of Toby, Russell, Buckwel }
and Partners be retained to prepare design drawings and
a cost estimate repory for the Kilmer House.

B. And that monies for retaining the firm, $5,100, be taken
from the Kilmer House acquisition and renovation budget.

COMMENTS:

City Council's special committee for Kilmer House, has called
for consultant services to examine the Kilmer House. Terms of
Reference for the project are to examine renovation options and
costs for the building. Considerations to be taken into
account include; potential community recreation and education
uses and maintaining a heritage flavor to the building.

There are sufficient funds in the Kilmer
House Reserve to cover the proposed
expenditure.
