January 25, 1993/026 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, BC on Monday, J anuary 25th, 1993, at 7:30 p.m. Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Councillors M.J. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, R.H. Talbot, M.A. Thompson, and M.R. Wright were in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk S. Rauh, City Treasurer/Deputy Administrator, J.G.S. Maitland, City Engineer LR. Zahynacz, Director of Planning C.R. Felip, Fire Chief J. Baillie, and Deputy Fire Chief G. Routley. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Seconded by Councillor Talbot: That the minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Council meeting held on January 18th, 1993 be taken as read and adopted. Carried. DELEGATIONS: His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay asked Council to give leave to Mike Mclivor, 1867 Western Drive, Barry Tregs, 1375 Oxford Street, and Tevin Hansen, 4028 Mars Place, skateboarding advocates, to address Ccuncil regarding the City providing covered areas for skateboarding. Moved by Councillor Gordon: con ouncillor Thompson: That Mike Mclvor, Barry Tregs, and Tevin Hansen be given leave to address Council regarding the City providing covered areas for skateboarding. Moved by Councillor Gordon: Seconded ouncillor Thompson: That the request regarding the City lc «ing into short and long term prospects for providing covered areas for skateboarding be referred to the Parks and Recreation Committee for consid=ration and report to Council.
