THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM BYLAW NO. 2695 A Bylaw to authorize the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam to dispose of a portion of dedicated road in exchange for portions of land to he dedicated as road. WHEREAS tle Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desiroug of cancelling a portion of road shown dedicated in the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of British Columbia; WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the lands deacribed in Section 2 of thie Bylaw have agreed to convey land to the City in exchange so that it may be established as an addition to the roads in the City; AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act” being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1979, provides that the Council may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of improving, widening, straighteaing, relocating or diverting the highway ; NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: 1. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to convey to the Regiatered Owner of Rem. 326, Plan 54990: a 531.5 m4 portion of road in District Lot 255, Group 1, dedicated by Plan 2417, identified as Parcel "2" and shown hatched on a pian certified by Robert M. Rease, a British Columbia Land Surveyor, dated the 22nd day of May, 1992; in New Weatminater District, at or for the price or sum of $17,068.00 and in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of land described in the next Section heraof. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to dedicate: a 2.96 m- portion of Rem. 326, Plan 54990, identified as Parcel "1" and shown on a plan certified by Robert M. Reese, British Columbia Land Surveyor, dated the 22nd day of May, 1992; in New Westminster District, at or for the price or sum of $1.00 and in exchange for that certain parcel or tract of land described in the preceding Section hereof.
