SUBJECT: Citadel Heights ~ Park Sites

Recommendation

1. That a park naming contest be held to name the two new
parks in Citadel Heights.

2. That the Mayor appoint a committee to select the
winning names.

3. That an appropriate prize be given to the winner.

Background & Comments :

Citadel Heights. At that time, City Council was unable to come to
any agreement on the Proposed names. To date we still do not have
any names The Committee igs recommending that a contest be run to
name the parksites, The attached memorandum from the Parks &
Recreation Director o ls of such a contest. The
contest would be run
