Ald, Lilian Browne, Ald Max Zack and Ald. William Of- fer, who complete their one year term on city council in December, have announced they wil protect their seats in the civic election. No other taxpayers have yet filed nomination papers for the aldermanic race. Deadline for filing papers is 12 noon on December 1 Ald. Browne anticipates a year of accomplishment in 1959. "She feels that serving on the council is a very broadening ex- perience and affords one with a fine opportunity to apprec- iate what is involved in the administration of a city. Ald. Zack reports he wili push for reclassification of the loop from King George High- way, through Crescent, Ocean Park, Marine Drve, Washing ton Avenue and Campbell Piv- er Road from a secondary hicl: way to a provincial highway Ald.
