peacetully at home October 9, 1989. He
is survived by his loving wite, Anne and
sons, Brad and Bruce at home: son,
Bryan of Toronto, Ontario: his beloved

“mother Mrs. C.C. Miller of Sidney, B.C.,

his sisters, Gladys, Frances, Joan and
Janice. Predeceased by his. tather
George William and bes sister, Margar-
et. Bert owned and operated Bert Mor-
rey Plumbing and Heating, also Anne
helped manage the business from Jan-
uary, 1967 until the present time in
Sidney. Thank you.all for your ove and
suppor, past and present Bert was a
very special person, loving and caring,
always greeting you with a chuckle and
a smile and always. thinking of others
belore himself. Bert

brother Stanley. he was born in Leith,

- Scotland in 1915. He performed many
" years of. military service in Britain, first

in the Roya! Tank Corps of the British
Army, then the Royal Air Force and

lastly in the. Royal Navy, where he was
on active duty during the War. He was

discharged from the Navy, in 1945 with ©

a record of first-class’ service and with
the rank of Lieutenant- Commander. In
1948: he moved with his family to
Canada, where he took up a new

career as. a fisheries technologist.
