The movement is for the estab- lishment in Vancouver of a hos- pital for children afflicted with spastic or infantile paralysis. The two service clubs have each donated $15,000 towards the fund —-a further $220,000 is needed. The appeal states that ade- quately skilled medical, nursing and orthopaedic attention and hospital facilities, including cost- ly equipment, are essential for the treatment of either spastic or infantile paralysis. If these are promptly available, the paralysis victim stands a much better chance of complete recovery. Donations may be made direct to Mr. Wheeler or sent to the Vancouver headquarters.
