8 WHITE ROCK SUN THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29, 1959 REGISTERED NURSE y ey v Sunday afternoon was the start of the practice sessions for the Fraser Valley Teenag- ers, or the potential players I should say. There are several other young people around who could very easily make the grade with a bit of coaching and practice. We realize that it is taking a bit of money from the par- ents to finance all this bowling, and we are doing everything in our power to make it as light as possible for them. However, we would like to draw the at- tention of the parents to the fact that while these young people are bowling, they are not getting into trouble. We are very proud of the fact that not once has there been any sort of trouble from these young people, and we are of the firm opinion that we have some of the finest teenagers that can be found |right here in White Rock. We salute them. In summing up, we would ask the parents not to try and hold the young people back from their bowling, or any other or- ganized sport, just stop and look at it in this light, the couple of dollars it costs each week is a small price to pay for the fi b tiful jwelfare of your children SAD RAE CIR RS Some 26 members of the den next spring!
