However, there are some students who have the opportunity to - take this philosophy an- other. step further through, the Global Per- spectives program. The Global Perspec- tives program began last year by four teachers: Fraser Syme, Corrina Stevenson, Dan Gallagher and Tina Pierk. The inten- tions of the program were to improve poverty, locally and internationally... Presently, about 50 students in Grades li and 12 are participating in the program. Members have a class once a week, in which they focus their stud- ies on a particular country. “The country of focus. this * year is Haiti.
