Page 10 ‘ by Bea Bond Four years ago, I took a picture of a typical pastoral scene - a ’ large field near the Royal Oak -. Shopping Centre, where cattle and horses grazed. Recently, at the invitation of Mr. Jos. Isherwood, I was taken on a conducted tour of the new Royal Oak Inn, adjacent to the Royal Oak Motel, which now occupies the same field. ~The Royal Oak Motel was opened three years ago, and won a Park & Tilford award in the Vic-. - ~toria area as a development : which did the most towards: » improving. the ‘general environ- “ment.
