Last rites were held recently
from Chapel Hill Funeral Par
lour for Margaret E. Werely
who passed away Nov. 16 after
& lengthy illness.

Rev. J. G. Smalley officiated
with burial at Valley
Memorial Gardens,

Mrs. Werely is survived by
lher loving husband, Morgan,
|and two sons, Wallace of Home-
|stead, Alta., and Bert of Red
| Deer, Alta., also six grandchild-
ren.
| She was born at Lunenburg,
|Ontario, daughter of the Jate
James McPherson and Nancy
Mattice, in 1867 and received
her education there, later en-
tering the teaching profession.

Mrs, Werely was a member
of the Methodist Church, or-
|ganizer of the Goforth Mission
Band and was a member of the
|Order of the Eastern Star and
|Rebokah Lodge.
