The monthly ‘figure released by town office is $1,267,491 — a whopping 340 per cent more than the $321,603 worth of permits issued in November 1986. Permits issued so far this year are also well ahead of the same period last year. The 1987 figure so far is $11,608,338, compared with 1986’s $7,554,465. to the end of November. The. new Seastar Chemicals Ltd. plant on McDonald Park Road tops off the permits at $400,000. North Saanich committee appointments North Saanich Mayor Linda Michaluk will represent the municipality in most regional boards and associations.
