It was announced that 16 hampers had been sent off at the cost of about $38. The treasurer reported $182.70 in general fund, $75.62 in war work fund and the meeting authorized the payment of outstanding accounts, amount- ing to over $60. The educational secretary re- ported a request from the adopt. ed school at Clearwater, for lib- rary books and particularly for those relating to handicrafts. The chapter voted $25 for this pur- pose, Ex-service personnel convener stated that 56 greeting cards had been sent to ex-servicemen and one letter written. The war work convener reported 25 = articles shipped during the month to the Provincial chapter. A donation of $25 was voted to Polish relief fund and $25 ‘to British and European’ Relief funds. As a large quantity of raw wool was stated to be on hand, several members, led by Mrs. Bishop Wilson, volunteered to prepare and card it in readiness into Indian sweaters for seamen. Nominations for officers for the ensuing year were made by ballot.
