Her first school was on Malcolm Island near Alert Bay, followed by a year at Lakeshaw School near Duncan. She then taught for Teacher Retires Cedar School and Cedar Elementary School before becoming a staff member of Harewood Elementary School at Nanaimo. While at Cedar and Nanaimo she was active CHUB radio, reading favorite stories for children. She then moved to West Vancouver where she was a member of the staff of Caulfield Elementary School, Wednesday, September 10, 1975 art. She later moved back to the Island and taught at McTavish School and San- sbury School.
