Mr. and Mrs. Lawson trusted employ- ees of the Sidney Island Brick and Tile Company, assed through Sidney en route to Victoria on Monday. Mrs. Lawson, who is ill. is going into the hospital for treatment. The Local Butchers have a small amount of whale meat on sale this week. W. Jones, of Marygold, B.C., paid a short visit to Sidney on Wednesday. Mr. Jones, who recently resigned from the South Saanich municipal council ‘ owing to ill healt eee, Mrs. (Rev.) J.
