Bowling was continued in the afternoon and after many keenly contested games, tea was served. ‘The highjight of the day was the) conferring on Mr. S. Bowell of the New Westminster Lawn Bowling Club, an honorary life membership in the Semiahmoo Club, showing him, in a small way, the high es- teem held for him by all the mem- bers, a8 well as the appreciation they have for all the help he has been to our club. Mr. Bowell has officially opened (and Mrs. Nichol, our bowling greens every since its Inception, with a possible exception of one, and was on hand for our closing ceremonies. Mr. Bowell, in voicing his thanks, assured us that it was a pleasure on his part for anything that he has done, extending to us the good wishes from his New Westminster Club.
