Appointment of Ed Meade as
secretary-manager of the B.C
Federation of Fish and Game
Clubs effective August 1, was
announced today by Ted Barsby
of Nanaimo, Federation presi-
dent.

At the same time, Mr. Barsby
announced the resignation of
Jim Railton, who has served on
a yoluntary basis for several
years. In paying tribute to the
work done by Mr. Railton, Mr.
Barsby added:

“Without his untiring efforts
and continuing enthusiasm, the
Federation might never have
reached its present level where
the full-time services of a sec-
retary-manager are required.”
