On Tuesday, June 25th, a very
successful pienic-of the schools of
North Saanich was held. at~ Elk

' Lake, some 200 children ‘and par-

ents attending.

Swimming was first on the pro-
gram, followed by lunch.

After ‘the noon day meal 42
track events were run off, the
contestants competing for four
handsome cups put.up for compe-
tition. by the North Saanich Serv-
ice Club and for prizes donated
by citizens of the ‘district.
