International folk dancing registrations will be accepted at the first practice, on Thursday, September 24, at 8 p.m. in the Moose Hall. Beginners and all those who are interested are welcome to attend. First ballet lessons of the season will take place Thursday at the Moose Hall from 3 to 7 p.m. For further - information telephone Cindy Cooper (instructor) at 592- 1182. The coffee hour which will take place Friday at 2 p.m. at Sanscha, (and the 4th and 2nd Friday of cach month) is designed to provide an_ op- portunity for those interested to secure more recreation information, and to discuss voluntecr help with programmes which require this type of support. The craft and activity programme for 6-9 year-olds will hold its first weekly session at Sanscha at 3 p.m. Friday. There is still room in this programme for a few more. The Friday night activity sessions (2nd and 4th Fridays cach month at Sanscha) will take place Friday, Sept. 26, at 7 and9 p.m. The seven o’clock session is of particular. in- terest to family groups 10 years and over, or young people accompanied by an adult. The 9 p.m. session is‘ open to adults. Uther current activities include: ping pong, chess, bridge, whist, checkers and minor games, Any time there is sufficient interest in for- ming a separate group in any of these activities, a facility will be located and a new group initiated. In addition, these. sessions will be‘ oc- casionally interrupted for special events such as sing-a- longs, concerts, variety shows, etc. Recreation Director Randy Aubic will be present Firday, to meet with those interested and to discuss any recreation matters.
