the Evening Service at First
United, and then at the Men's
Supper on Monday in the Hall |
of the Church. An invitation is |
extended to everyone interested
to attend, and a special invita-
tion to men for the supper
event.

that a stop sign be erected at
the corner of Terry Road and
Marine Drive was defeated in
council,

Ald. Ed Irwin, head of the
light and traffic committee, had
previously inspected the corner
and had recommended that no |
action be taken as the traffic
using the intersection was pure-
ly local and consisted chiefly
of the residents of Terry Road
only,

that a stop sign was necessary
