Dear Sir:—In view of the misap-
, prehension, which we learn, prevails
among the residents of North Saan-
ich, as to the terms upon which the
late Mr. Mills deeded the land belong-
ing to Holy Trinity (Anglican)
Church situated at Patricia Bay: it
gimay be of interest to the public to
know these terms, viz.; “The land was
deeded by Mr... Mills to the late Lord
Bishop Hills and by him to the Angli-
Hican* Synod .of British Columbia, for
; ji the purpose of building a ‘church
[| thereon, for. the use of The. English
‘| Chureh at North Saanich?”

“Part of the site was set aside as a
| place of burial according to the rites
f|and ceremoniés of the-Church of Eng-
fjland, now the Church of England in
