A study in China several
years ago compared the re-
lationship between
footwear and foot prob-
lems. It concluded that
umpteen billion Chinese
who did not wear shoes sel-
dom had foot problems
while the. other umpteen
billion who wore shoes suf-
fered bunions, ingrown toe-
nails, corns and_ painful
swollen nerves called “neu-
romas’.

A neuroma of the foot,
known as a Morton’s neu-
roma, is a. painful pain
and/or a numbing numb-

- ness involving the ball. of
the foot and the third and
